Most chat tools assume the person answering works in English. In Toronto that is often the wrong assumption — plenty of shops, clinics, salons and import businesses are run by people whose first language is neither English nor French. Omnilo translates in both directions across 133 languages, so the inbox arrives in your language and your reply leaves in theirs.

Omnilo has an operator language. Set it to Punjabi, Tamil, Korean, Farsi, Urdu, Gujarati, Arabic or any of the other 133, and every incoming message is translated into that language before you read it. What you type back is translated into whatever language the customer wrote in.
That is a different product from a widget that answers customers in their language while still expecting you to work in English. For an owner who runs the business in their first language and does the books in it too, the support inbox stops being the one place they have to switch.
Chinese in both written forms, Simplified and Traditional. Punjabi, Urdu, Gujarati, Tamil, Bengali and Hindi. Tagalog, Vietnamese, Korean and Japanese. Arabic, Farsi, Pashto and Kurdish. Somali, Amharic and Tigrinya. Ukrainian, Polish, Russian, Portuguese and Spanish.
It is machine translation, running on Google's translation service. That is the right tool for “Are you open Sunday?” and the wrong one for a lease. Quick and good enough to keep a conversation moving; not a certified translator, and this page will not pretend otherwise.
Intercom's Essential tier lists at US$29 to US$39 per seat per month, with AI resolutions billed at US$0.99 each on top. Four people answering chat is US$116 to US$156 a month before a single AI resolution. A thousand of those in a busy month is another US$990.
Omnilo lists at C$20 to C$49.99 a month, flat. No per-seat billing, no per-resolution charge, and the translation is not a paid add-on on any tier — it is how the chat works. Bringing a cousin or a part-timer onto the inbox for the weekend does not change the bill. That is list price against list price in two currencies; check both vendors' own pages before deciding.
Honest caveats. Intercom is a full support platform — help centre, product tours, ticketing, a large app ecosystem; Omnilo is a chat widget with two-way translation, team routing and away-hours handling, so this is not a like-for-like swap. The language list covers written Chinese in both Simplified and Traditional script; there is no separate Cantonese setting, because the translation works on what is typed, not what is spoken. And Omnilo is built and supported from New Brunswick, an hour ahead of Toronto.
